I know that the Blacketts had an estate in a village called Wylam in Northumberland (my home town - the family home is on what used to be estate land). I'm actually looking for any old photo's/sketches (did photo's exist then? - i think so) from around 1810 - 18-50 of the estate, especially the old stable buildings. They were since used by George Stephenson in the construction and testing of the first steam locamotive, and now form the fabric of our home. Can anyone help? All help in tracing any history GRATEFULLY received!

Thanks, oh and I can pass on anything I find out to those interested.
