Albert P. Blacker (no dates) married Sarah Martha ("Mat" "Mattie") Dain (1869-1896) on October 5, 1893.
They had one child, Mary Blacker. As you can see from the dates, Mattie did not live long after Mary was born; it is even possible that she died in childbirth.
Mattie Dain was the daughter of George Washington Dain (1831-1903) and the sister of Atlanta Catherine Dain Helms, my maternal grandmother.
The Dains lived in and around Montgomery County, Indiana (Darlington, Colfax, Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Lafayette, etc.). There are still numerous Blackers in that same area.
