Mark Bridge's information is correct. There is an awful lot more information in "A History of the Blacker's of Carrickblacker" a book published by the Ulster Society within the last ten years and I believe is still in print. There is also a monograph in the National Library of Ireland printed about 1901 entitled something like "The Genealogy of the Blackers of Carrickblacker" which traces family origins from Ireland back to Yorkshire then to Scandanavia (how reliable the information is I wouldn't dare to say). The Church of Ireland parish church in Seagoe, Co. Armagh has considerable records of the Blacker family. The remains of the old 1630 church and the burial tomb of the Carrickblackers are to be found in the parish churchyard. Worth a visit.
