I have some photos as well. Harmon dob 20 Aug 1856 and his borhter Payton "Pate" sons of Harmon Blackburn dob 22 Nov 1825 and Melinda Whitt, left Pike Co., KY and settled in Lawrence Co., KY.

Harmon dob 22 Nov 1825 fought in the Civil War for the north. I have his file. He was killed by bushwackers.

This started a feud between the Blackburns and the Johnsons.

Several family members in each family were either killed or went missing.

Eventually Melinda was remarried to Andrew Frances.

I have not found documentation to who Harmon's parents were as the 1840 Census does not list names of the children.

There are several files posted on Ancestry but half list Harmon's father as William and the other half list it as Hudson.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Linda
