Jeff,
My name is John Blackard. I'm 65 and live in Rossville, Ks. I know some more than you about family but I know how you feel. The Blackard name is not too common and from what I can tell, we don't really know where the name and we came from. Scotland or England is the best we know. My family came last from Johnson County Arkansas. I visited in El Paso at Christmas, 1951, with Keke Stovall who was realted to the Blackards. I don't have great information for you but I wanted you to know your message had been read.
