Melissa Black and Isaac Smith 1850's in MO

Looking for any information on a Melissa Black born about 1850 in St. Louis MO. She married Isaac Smith and had a child named Mary Luzetta Smith born 1877 in St Joseph MO.

Melissa was purported to be a Cherokee Indian, but no proof yet. Parents might be Robert Wilson Black and Catherine Smith of IN.
