Last Will & Testament of Robert Black---Condensed:
I give and bequeath to my wife Ann Black all my household furniture , two cows the use of my negro woman Sucy over and above one third part of the residue of my Estate real and personal .
Secondly , I give and bequeath to my two daughters Sarah Devenny intermarried with Aaron Devenny and Rachal Linn intermarried with Samuel Linn., to each of them a sum of fifty pounds in gold or silver. Money to be paid to them in two years after my decease.
Thirdly, I give and bequeath to my son James Black the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds money aforesaid, to be paid him out of my personal estate in lue of services he has rendered me more than any of my other children, also I further bequeath to my son James my house clock to be holden of absolutely.
Fourthly, I give grand and bequeath to my two sons Henry Black and James Black as tenants in common and not as joint tenants & equally to be divided all and singular the rest and residue of my Estate real and personal lands and tenements which I hold in my own right to be holden of them their heirs and assigns for ever.

Following Alterations made to original will.
I bequeath to my two daughters Sarah Deveney and Rachiel Linn the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to be paid them at the time aforesaid for their other legacy to paid, over and above their other legacy and over and above their other legacy. ..I further bequeath my wife Ann black the sum of one hundred pounds over and above what I bequeathed to her in the above will. …and further I disanul and make void so much of the above will as the appointment of my son James as Executor of my last will testament & in his room and stead appoint my son in law Samuel Linn Executor with my son Henry Black..
