While visiting a few cemeteries in Va looking for my
Relatives, I came across the stone of Isabella H.Black
with the Dates 1848-1936.( Cunningham Methodist Church)
Since my Pace family was from Cunningham, Va.I searched the
census records for her and found her living near a
Bragg family in Cunningham, Va . Does she have any
connections to Braggs, Paces, Houchins ??
On the 1920 census for Cunningham she is listed as
Head of household b. abt.1849 and a sister,
Christiana Dudley b. abt.1851.
I do know that the family of George Nelson Pace,
Son of John Hartwell Pace and Fannie Houchins had
a Dudley somewhere in there ancestry.
Information about any of the above would be welcome

My grgrandfather was John R.Pace b. abt. 1809
m. Elizabeth ?? ( do not know her maiden name)
His son John Walker Pace. b. 1843 m.
Rebecca Ann Robinson b. 1853, dau. of
DAvid C. Robinson and Mary A. Herndon
also looking for any Info.on David Robinson b. 1789
He was my other grgrandfather, and was first married
to a Mary Hodges in Goochland county. They had several
children who later lived in Fluvanna county, where
he married his second wife, Mary Herndon, who received
a pension and bounty land warrants for his service
in the war of 1812.
I still own some of the land from my Pace relatives
in Fluvanna, but noone has lived on it since 1910.
