Sorry, I do not know his children.
Beyond what I posted, I have learned from his step father's estate settlement in Knoxville in 1794 that his half sister Sarah Newell married a Vance, probably Joseph Vance. Also Joseph Black Newell, 3d son of half brother Sam Newell built what is now the Raintree Inn B $ B in Bronston Ky.
