I have the Bk5.0 12-1991 purchase

I have trouble getting ged,exe, mime etc condensed files into this version, can you assist?
The problem seems when I get to the naming of the file to go into bk, I am trying to learn but find it baffling. Could you list point by point how to. I have over 70 eyesight.
