converting Family Roots Data to Brother's Keeper or other?

I am interested in Brother's Keeper as a genealogy program.
I have hundreds of records in FamilyRoots format. Is there a
conversion program or patch for converting the data file. If not,
suggestions on which genealogy software program on the market can
accomplish the task. Please send e-mail. thanx
