Let's not get to far from the truth. There is no difference in the free version and the registered version other than the ability to have all of the features turned on, all the time without having to do it each time you use it.
Most of us who see how current John keeps the free updates and are familiar with other programs which only add a few changes once per year to gouge another $30 bucks out of you, feel that John has more than earned his due and go ahead and register. John works very hard on this and has worked personally with me on some problems that I had when I had been and still was at that time a long long time UNregistered user. He certainly earned my respect as well as the registration fee.
