Hi, I grew up in Rochester, New York and
my grandfather came from Stirling, Ontario.
My great great grandfather was James Lanigan
who apparently was born in Ireland around 1814 as his tombstone states that he died in
August, 1879 at the age of 65. We know only
that the name Lanigan is associated with Kilkenny and N. Tipperary. I have names of
James' descendents. His oldest son was Robert who was my great grandfather. E-mail
me if you'd like to keep in touch.
Diane L. Potter
