Filling in the gaps

Hi! I've just recently discovered I'm part of the Bizzell line. Samantha Jane Bizzell (daughter of Mark A.) is my great-grandmother. :-)

I've been trying to gather info from these forums as well as from and & have been able to trace the line back about as far as possible, obtain copies of several death certificates & a few census records, and several headstones. I'd like to start working on the indirect branches (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) & was wondering if anyone knew of other resources to help in the search.

I'm especially interested in the Bizzells of Bonham. I grew up in the Houston area with family in Dallas, but as coincidence would have it, I lived in Bonham for about 6 yrs in the 90's & never knew I had a history there. If there are records of signifigance there and/or family members buried in the area, it's definately something I'd like to look into on my next visit.

Also... ANY older photos, newspaper clippings, documentation, etc would be GREATLY appreciated -- especially from my direct line or Samantha's siblings.

Thanks in advance!
