Howdy -- I'm a Bizzell descendant on my mother's side. I'm not sure what you meant by "where" your people are from. That is, do you mean state or country? I can tell you the Bizzells landed in America in Virginia, in the early 1700s, and most seemed to have migrated into eastern NC. Wayne Co., NC, is big in the family histories. The Bizzells seem to have originated from Savoie Province, France; probably French Huguenot (Protestant faction) originally, and left because of the religious persecution there in the 1500s and 1600s. Our cousin, Oscar Bizzell, compiled a book on the family. It deals mostly with census and will records. Pretty concise and has lots of details, tracing family relationships to the early 1700's and late 1600s. He lives in retirement in Newton Grove, NC; if you wanted to contact him, I'm pretty sure his name is in the phone book. Hope some of this has been useful to you. Good luck!
