I checked the messages posted so far and found no connections, however, there is a "book" called Descendants of John Bixler (1823-1903)Who Was The Son of Jacob Bixler And Grandson of Joseph Bixler written by Orville Bixler Hoy. He also sent out updates containing information contributed by relatives at least once yearly. I have the "book" and copies of most of the updates.

John (of the title) was born March 4, 1823 in Fayette County, Penn. John was 9 when his family moved to Tuscarawas County, Ohio. He married Savilla Ann Markley Nov. 26, 1846. Both John and Savilla Ann are buried in Adams County, Iowa.
