I don't think this is a link. The Floyd in my family had the following brothers and sisters: Mildred, Myrtle, Vera, Victor, and Bertha. Their parents were Andrew Jackson Bixler and Susan Wohrer. Andrew Jackson Bixler was B 5-1-1852, D 9-12-1922. They were indeed from Iowa.
I'd be interested to learn a bit more about your Bixlers.
