Saw your posting while looking for a message from someone else. Thought that you might like this info.
Lucy M. Nickell married Charles H. Bixler in 1891 in Kansas. He was the son of John Holland Bixler and Celia Jane Watkins. He was born 20 Apr 1870 in Kansas. They had three children: Myrtle Dell (b. 17 Mar 1891), James (b. 21 Apr 1894), and Earl (b. 15 July 1896). I have birthplaces and death dates and places on the three children. Evidently Charles H. Bixler served a year and a day in a state penitentiary. While he was gone, Lucy packed up and went back to Iowa where she married Jurymore Jeremiah Simmons on 08 Apr 1901.
