Was your Elizabeth a daughter of John Bixler(d 1765) and Magdalena Kroehbiel and sister to Samuel Bixler(1742-1803), Matalena and Christian Bixler? Christian is my gggg grandfather and John my ggggg grandfather. John was the son of Peter Bicksler and Barbara Peffeley. This John died 7 years before his father Peter and was left off the will when Peter died in 1772. But I founfd info at York Historical Library in Yoirk PA to confirm he was Peter's son (but had died 7 yrs earlier). In the red Bixler book about Peter, who came to the US on the ship friendship into the port Phil. He left Switzerland because he was being persecuted for being a mennonite.
