In Regard to the Christian Bixler/Bicksler family mentioned above,

Christian Biscler, born Mar. 14, 1781, a farmer, born in Berks County, PA -died Jany (January) 24 1853; a white male age 71.10.10, father: Christian Biscler, mother: Eve Burgend; wife,(wives) Catharine Schlayerast; Elisabeth Grimm. Cause of death, Delamien? name of person rendering certificate, John Rose, MD, place of person's death: Lower Mahantongo, Schuylkill, PA., place of burial, St. John's Church Cemetery, Lower Mahantongo, PA, date of certificate, Feb. 12, 1853, registered Feb 17, 1853.
Note: St. John's Cemetery shares burial space with Frieden's Church Cemetery, Hegins, Schuylkill Co., PA, but neither Christian nor Catharine's stone is there today, however, his 2nd wife, Elisabeth (Heim) Grim-Bixler does have a headstone still in standing (although written in german in that cemetery.)Nor do printed records for St. John's Church contain any information about the above.
