Has anyone studied the early census Bixlers for Erie Co PA? I have a couple of questions:
1) Is the Jacob Bixler of 1830 Mill Creek and 1840 Fairview a match for the 1850 Jacob Bixler of Fairview?
2) Who is the Andrew Bixler of 1840 Mill Creek, how old is he, and where did he go?
Here are my notes for anyone who might be working on these lines:

An 1884 bio for Samuel Stark of Girard Twp shows he married in Erie Co PA in 1858 to Martha Bixler d/o Jacob Bixler. The bio mentions 4 ch of Samuel Stark & Martha Bixler: Frank, Osborne P, Lula, Rolla.

I think this note connects -- Leonard John Bixler (1892-1943 see online death record) is s/o John Jacob Bixler & Jennie Sewell:

pg 254 ....Dennis Asbury Newhard, born 1 April 1940 at Wyndotte, Mich, son of Morris William and Virginia Ellen (Bixler) Newhard, who reside in Fort Wayne, Ind. His paternal grandparents were Chancy Asbury and Clara Elnore (Wilson) Newhard of Wells County, Indiana. His maternal grandparents were Leonard John and Julia Amelia (Weicki) Bixler from Ashtabula, Ohio.....
