JF believed this to be a son of Henry Bixler (b c 1753 d c 1833) & Eve -- CHRISTIAN BIXLER --

"...Christian Bixler whose wife was Mary. He was a son of Henry Bixler, b 1753.
He showed up in the deed records of Sandusky County in 1824, and because of financial problems caused by illness in the family, and also because his brother, George, died in 1836, he moved from Sandusy County (Ohio) to LaPorte County, Indiana in 1837. I visited LaPorte County and there was no record of him. The 1840 census shows that he moved to Fountain County, Indiana. The only record I have on Fountain County is a marriage of Henry Bixler to Lucretia Zumwalt in 29 Oct 1840, per 1988 IGI."
