Hi,
Just in the past two months I have discovered that Ira (Jack) Bivens is my great grandfather. He married Ethel Virginia Griffin and they had three children: Lawrence, Coleen and Edward Garland Bivens. Coleen is still living (as of June 6, 2010) and my mother just met her in May of this year. Edward Garland Bivens is my grandfather. He married Barbara Jean Johnson in June 1945 and they had my mother, Sandra Louise Bivens, on April 26, 1946. I would love to connect to anyone who has information on this particular Bivens family.
