Kay,
Good to hear from you.
I am not related to BIVENS, but research that family line. My great grandmother, Millie Etta WALDRON (1875-1954) was 5th of 13 children. Her younger sister, Lula May WALDRON (1885-1960) married Harrison Linn BIVENS "Harry"(1880-1944) 22 Feb 1905 in York County, Nebraska. Harry and family left Nebraska and moved to Warren County, Illinois between 1910 and 1920. Both are buried in Alexis, Warren County, Illinois.
Harry's parents were William A. BIVENS (1836-1918) and Mary Ann SNYDER (1841-1919), both of whom are buried in Exeter, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
I have not researched the BIVENS line for a couple of years now - so it takes me some time to get current with the names in my database.
I do have your John and Mary with 11 children. Happy to share what I have.
