Hello,
I am an antique dealer and recently purchased a group of items which included an 1823 leatherbound Bible with a lot of Bivens history. It was originally presented to a Thomas Bivens by his son Ebenezer. I believe Thomas was married to a woman named Irene or Irena Bidwell and they had 8 children and lived in Ohio. Thomas was born Jan. 10th, 1765 and died November 3rd, 1848. Irena was born August 7th, 1763 and died March 26th, 1833. There is much more information about Biven's. I am glad to provide pictures.
