Given the naming conventions probably all of Frederick's sons had a son named Frederick. Thanks for your input. It is encouraging.
The line I am after is Hannah Bittle b. 1842 daughter of Charles Bittle b 1812 and Sarah b.1816 (surname may be Powell). From Census and other records I think Frederick Bittle born 1775-1780 married ca 1800 fits the bill as Charles father. Looks like Frederick lived in Chester and Delaware Cos. PA
