I have unclear copies of 1900 census index cards for Giles TWP, Cleburne, AR listing the following:

CHANCE, William b. July 1893 age 6 lvg with Callie L BITTLE Relationship Brother-in-Law

CHANCE, Nancy J. b. ?Feb 1889 age 11 lvg with Callie L. BITTLE Relationship Sister-in-Law

Does anyone have more info on this relationship.

Their father was William R. CHANCE first wife? Mandy SIMPKINS second wife Daler KING b. 1871 was 16 when she married William Chance May 22, 1887 Quitman, AR
They say Daler left on a train and took two of the children unknown and Virgie.
