I am wondering if the John Bittle b. 1750 in NC could be father of Jesse Bittle who died in Anson County, NC 1810. Oral history states that his ancestors came from PA but do not have documentation for that. The informatiion posted by Patti Bittle indicates that the John Bittle, 1750, in NC had a son named Jesse. Jesse Bittle d. 1810 in Chesterfield, SC had a son named John who was the father of John Wesley Bittle and the ancestor of the Chesterfield Bittles.
