I'm still new at this, so I don't have much, but here's what I've found thus far:

John Knox, married to Nancy Bitner, was born in 1797, in Northumberland Co., PA, to John Knox and Catherine Stewart.

John Knox, married to Catherine Stewart, was born in County Antrim, Ireland, in 1769. The family lore has it that he came to this country in 1779, entering at the Port of Philadelphia. John was a millwright by trade and eventually moved to Piatt TWP, Lycoming Co., where he built a grist mill in 1799. I believe that John and Catherine had four children, but I only have the names of the oldest and the youngest. They are John (born in 1797) and Jane, respectively. I hope this helps you out.

Do you have any more info on the Bitner line? I have my direct line back to Hans George and Elizabeth (Harshburger) Bitner.
Thanks for all your help. I look forward to hearing from you!
