Hello, I am looking for some people who left France in early 1700's. On the list to Quebec were:
Marie BISSONETTE
Nicolas MACARD dit CHAMPAGNE
Nicolas MARMOTTE dit CHAMPAGNE
Nicolas CHAMPAGNE

On a French document listed for my ggg-grandfather, Simon CHAMPAGNE as his parent's are:
Marie BISSONET/BISSONETTE
Nicolas CHAMPAGNE

Does anyone have knowledge of these people. Simon was b. 1782,I believe. Was a fur-trader for Hudson's Bay, and laterlived and died at Mackinac Island, MI. Married at least twice, last wife was Francoise BOUVIER.

I will appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
