I'm not sure where you were led astray, or perhaps you have sourced information that contradicts the repertoires...which is possible? Which couple are you working from, in the generation prior? As well, if you have the correct birthdate, for the correct Olivier, he would have only been 10 years old when he married?

If you are searching for the Olivier who IS THE SON of Pierre BISSONNETTE and Josephte DAOUST (married Nov 13, 1838 in St-Polycarpe), this Olivier's spouse is Rosalie aka Cordelia? DROUIN. This Olivier and Rosalie married in Fournier, Ontario Sept 18 1869. His brother is Evariste BISSONNETTE who married Meletime BRISEBOIS.
