Hi Sheila: My granddad,is Clarence Schweitzer sr. His Dad's name was Herman Schweitzer, He was Albert Schweitzer's brother, I am also trying to find out what Albert's and greatgranddad's Dad's name was. Albert was born in 1875 he died in 1965, he won the noble peace prize in the early 60's if this helps you out. I think his wive's name was catherine and they had a daughter, I think it was Elizabeth, I know great granddad came from Germany. My mom said he was from some where near Austria.
I don't know the name for sure. Grand dad had a borther his name was Walter, and a sister Mary, Walter died back in the 80's so did granddad. I think He had another brother also, but I can ask grandma about that. Hope this helps you out a little. Let me know if you find out anything more, I will ask Grandma more and try to pass it on to you.
