William Bishop was born 1801 in Hancock Co.,Ga.--died 1876 in Emanuel County. Sarah Coleman Bishop b.1805 in Emanuel Co.,Ga. d. 1884--Both Buried at Bishop Chapel Cemetery in Emanuel Co.,Ga. This couple had six sons--all served in Civil War--sons: Alfred Bishop, William C. Bishop, Allen Bishop, John Bishop, Matthew Bishop, James Bishop. Ceremony to honor these soldiers will be held on June 7, 2009. Seaching for descendants--Inviting all descendants to attend and participate in this service. Please contact for more details.
