MORRISTOWN, N.J. - Robert F. Bischoff Sr. died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 95.
He was born Jan. 12, 1910, son of the late Dr. Frederick and Ernestine Bischoff and the stepson of the late Laroy F. Kendall.
He was a lifelong resident of Morristown.
He attended the Newark School of Fine Arts and many of his art works, particularly China porcelains, were exhibited in the 30s and 40s.
For many years he maintained his own painting and decorating business.
He was a Charter member of the Morristown Police Reserve Association and a member of the Morris County Art Association.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Mae (Mulvaney), and by his second wife, Rita (Burke).
He is survived by his children, Rosemarie Warrick of Morris Plains, and Robert Jr. and Gerald Bischoff of Morristown; a brother, Laroy Kendall Jr. of Lexington, Ky.; his grandchildren, William and Gerald Warrick, Lisa Gagliardi, Alison and Gerald Bischoff Jr., and Mary Wear; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Morristown.
Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery
