Mary Ann BIRT, b: 12 September 1813 in England, married 16 Jul 1837 in Edgbaston (Birmingham), Warwickshire, England to Joseph GILBERT (b: August 1818 in England). They came to Canada abt 1847 with three children, William, Herbert & Alice E. GILBERT. Arthur & Mary Ann GILBERT born in Ontario. Mary Ann GILBERT (maiden surname BIRT) died 20 Nov 1896 in Ontario, Canada.
