I only recently made the connection with Edward's family line to John & Sally Birt.

Edward broke away from tradition and married into the catholic side when he married Marguerite McManus. The family drifted apart from the PEI Birt's and his son Samuel would have nothing to do with his ancestors in PEI. It was many years later before we could tie the families together again.

Looking forward to finding more connections with the family.
