From One Nick to another,
Nick, Stephen Birt that you replied to in this thread is my uncle, brother of my father Brian Birt (also now sadly deceased) My Grandfather was Cecil Francis Birt who was related to your grandfather! I also used to have a girlfriend with the same surname who's grandfather was a BIRT also related to my grandfather but i don't know what his name was. I also live in Cheltenham. Another funny thing about the past comments regarding the names William & George Birts. Fascinating to me as one of my sons is called William George. I have only just joined this site today. Interested to know if anyone has got any further with our particular line. Thanks Nick.
