martin, I am researching my gr- grandfather, patrick birt who was born in ireland around 1840. There seems to be only 2 locations for birt's in Griffith's that would be derry and antrim and their were not that many so I wouldn't think that it should be difficult tracking down records. Do you know if the
birt's were roman catholic my grandparents were so Iassume patrick was. He came to pennsylvania around 1860 but I know of nothing more. Could you tell me anything more on the family that may lead me in the right direction. thanks
