Yes, I am daughter of Sharon. It's so nice to hear that you knew my grandparents (Opal & Lindy) and Great Granny Barnes (Anna Mae). Where are you located? I am in Florida now. Actually, my great uncle Donald Norton of Winona has really done a lot of research on the Norton side, I have some of that and will compare to what he has. Do you have Family Tree Maker software? If so, I can probably download the file to you.
My roadblock on the Mayberry-Barnes side has been with Anna May Mayberry (Barnes). It seems that Emma Lee had all the Mayberry children prior to the marriage to William Levi Birlew and that your Aunt Mattie was born from that marriage. I'm trying to figure out who was Emma's prior husband (Mayberry) and what her maiden name was before Mayberry. Not having much luck, but have posted on the Mayberry forum. Also, my trail ends with Auda Harold Barnes (Anna Mae's husband), not much information before that, again posted on the forum. Anything you have would be appreciated. It was great to find you hear and look forward to sharing information of the families. Uncle Donald said in his Christmas letter that he should be online soon so hopefully I can get some more information from him soon. Talk to you soon.
