A while ago someone posted a message about Lincolnshire Birketts. I don't have the information immediately to hand, but I do know that Samuel Birkett of Coddington nr Newark (father of William Birkett who married Elizabeth Branston-- and then my memory gives out... sorry... have to track down the family tree later)was my ancestor. Apologies for not giving more specific information, but quite frankly I don't think we know a lot more anyway: this far back in our family tree we have only managed to find the names of direct ancestors. Any more information is appreciated!
