Miles Birkbeck, farmer, County Down, 1726

I have got more info on Miles Birkbeck. In 1726 he obtained a lease of a farm near Greyabbey in the Ards peninsula (County Down), and was still there in the 1760s, but no trace before or after.
In the lease he names two sons and a daughter - John (15 years) Robert (12 years) and Elizabeth (21 years).
The name is one I have never come across before here, but on this forum discovered a Miles Birkberk in 1717 in Westmoreland, in the lake district. I have a hunch that there is a connection, and that my Miles may have been a sheep farmer. Any bells ringing anywhere?
Philip Robinson
