I am looking for my great great grandfather. His name was Charles Lankford or Langford Birge. Born in the 1840s he married Sarah Elizabeth Mink or Minks she was from Dallas County Missouri. They had one child born 1868 in Franklin City Missouri. Charles did go by the name of Lankford or Langford instead of Charles. He died between 1870-1871 in Missouri somewhere. The family was on an outing collecting wild Herbs, ate one and died. The family believes he had four brothers who were all killed in the Civil War. Charles and Sarah had only one child my great grandfather William Lankford or Langford Birge. He was raised in Phelps and Franklin Counties of MO.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Sharlee
