On the LDS site.. someone has entered in data on David Pratt, Jr. born about 1761 in Oxford, Worcester Co., MA. His parents, David Pratt and Sarah Shumway married in 1760 in Oxford. Also, indicated David wife as Deborah which you have. In 1850 Deborah Pratt is in White Creek Twp., Washington Co., NY age about 1768 in CT and living with the Rich family of which I do not know how related. David Pratt, Jr. supposedly died somewhere in 1828 as you have a will for him? So I believe that Deborah Birge is the daughter of Jonathan Birge b. 1736 in Hebron Twp., Tolland Co., CT and Rachel Strong b. about 1734 in Colchester, New London Co., CT. How she ended up meeting David Pratt is the question. I know Hosea Birge, son of Jonathan and Rachel died in 1843 at Chatham, Columbia Co., NY. Mary Ann sister to Deborah married Harvey Orcutt and died in Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., NY. So some of her siblings moved also from CT to NY. But all of this is still not total proof but a good match for the only Deborah Birge I know of that was that age. Also, Mary Ann Birge was born in Vermont so Jonathan and Rachel were on the move. Not sure where they actually ended up.

Jerry
