Jemima Birge married George Boyd 1759 VA.

According to our family records George Boyd married a Jemima Birge in 1759 in VA. I can find nothing whatsoever about her family. They named one of their sons "Drury Birge Boyd" who was my third great grandfather.
I have noticed that the name Drury was a common name in the Burge family of Prince Edward and later Amelia Co.VA. In fact John Edward and Frances Ann Burge had a son Drury born in 1738 of thereabouts. Since Jemima was supposedly born about 1739, I'm thinking that perhaps she and Drury were brother and sister and that she later named a son after him. The problem with all this is that I can find no mention of a Jemima in the long list of their children, or, in fact, amongst any of the many Burges that I have come across. Incidently, there appears to have been at least three Drury Burges.
Are there any Burges out there who can shed some light on Jemima. She and George lived most of their life in PA.

Thanks,

Jim Boyd
Texas
