Gail,

My mother and I did a lot of research on the Birge before she died 9 years ago. We started with an old chart done in 1907 sent to her fater by a relative. Our family too ended up in TX, but we descend from Daniel, son of Richard Birge of Dorchester, MA, rather than John. We did trace some of your family and I have on a chart that says that William S. Birge, b. 1800 in CT married Rebecca King Bond, b. 7-29-1810. I haven't gone into these records in some time, so I am not sure where we got this information. Does this help?

Susan
