"E.A." was Ernest Aaron Birdwell (10-15-1852 to 8-6-1923). "Ada" was his second wife. Ernest & Hugh were two of their four children. "Ernest" was actually Ernestine. She married a man named Hugh CATHEY. Her brother Hugh Birdwell married Beryl CATON. Hugh died in 1982, I believe in Snyder, TX.
Your Ida was E.A.'s eldest child. Her mother was his first wife, Luella CLIFFORD (8-10-1856 to 10-3-1897). Luella died shortly after giving birth to their eleventh child. She is buried in Coleman Co. at the Rough Creek Cem.. Ernest died in 1923 and is buried in Scurry Co. at Ira, TX.
I have very little info on Ida. One of her brothers is my ancestor. While I can't tell you much about Ida, I do have info on her ancestors. I also have a family photo of she and her sisters as kids. Get in touch if that is of interest. Regards.
