Long lost BIRDSONGS!

I am looking for information regarding the Birdsong family in Marshall County, AL. My grandfather, Robert Benjamin Birdsong, Jr., was the son of Robert and Rosa (Harold) Birdsong. He was born on March 2, 1910 in Marshall County, AL. He had a sister named Florence Birdsong Harvey who was born in 1914. She died in 1981 in Galveston, TX. I am interested in finding her children. I searched for my grandfather for two years and finally found him throught the SSA. He died in 1974 in Houston, TX. After receiving his death certificate, I was able to obtain his military records. This is when I found out about his sister Florence. I also discovered through these records that he had a daughter before my mother was born. Up until the time I received these records, my mother never knew that she had a sister. Now, I must find her for my mother has never known any of her family. This sister's name was/is Verlon Birdsong, and she lived in Knight, LA during 1942. This is all that I know about her. If you have any information regarding any of these Birdsongs, please write to me.

Thanks!
Dana
