Hi Barbara - We first corresponded in 1978 and lost contact. I think we've finally fit together most of the early Birdsong families. Are you aware of the book (Five generations of American Birdsong Ancestry, 387 pages, $25.00) published in 1995 by Dean John Birdsong? (6370 Casselberry Way, San Diego, CA 92119-2919). I believe your Jesse was the son of John Birdsong and Amanda Lightfoot (John being the son of Henry Birdsong and Sally Roundtree).
