Barbara, thanks for your information. I live in Jackson Co. where they lived and are buried. Would it be possible to get a copy of that picture your sister is having restored? My mother (Sara Evelyn Shoemaker Crosby, is 87 and still in good health, her 2 brothers have been dead over 10 years) the granddaughter of Susan Adelia does not have any pictures of her grandfather or grandmother. If you have any I would appreciate getting copies of them. Some of the Mozley's that I am in contact with here has never mentioned Susan being in the hospital in Chattahoochee, that is another piece of info I can add to my info (thanks). I have learned a lot from some of the Birdsong families that have done research.
Are you married to a Palmer? My husband's g-g-grandfather was Joshua Palmer, who lived in Marion Co. Ga. and was buried in the Palmer Cemetery, do you think we are related thru the Palmers?
