My Birdsong married a Choctaw and acquired land in Grant County, AR in 1858. Land was paid for with Choctaw script. This Birdsong is "William." His son Napoleon Bonaparte Birdsong purchased adjoining land as well. Data that I am researching indicates that William's Choctaw wife was "Winaford." I am currently researching Choctaw records and have located the Choctaw name which was referenced in the AR land records.

I have not been able to find these Birdsongs in the AR census. There is contingency from MS related to this line: Thomas B. Birdsong - brother to Napoleon Bonaparte.
